Basilio Chen H.
Chairman of The Evotech Group and Managing Partner

Basilio Chen is a strategic technopreneur and innovator, an influential thought leader, and a trusted pragmatic trends advisor. Basilio believes that the current generation of consumer-driven disposability will now shift towards sustainability especially water recycling and has his focus on advanced water technologies such as Crytallix water purification.

Having promoted large multinational corporations, governments and local communities, he is now focused on rapid growth of small-medium size enterprises. He has founded numerous firms that developed a multitude of leading-edge technologies and has contributed to set QSS for IEEE and others. Basilio has extensive experience in cross-border development in China, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe and has over 30 years of top-flight performance for economic advisory, senior management, product and business development. He has spoken at more than 200 seminars and lectures worldwide, has served on Boards of many non-profit and community organizations and has been president of the Asian Business Association (ABA). He has also served in promoting and representing APIA community at various levels, public and private.

Basilio is an Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi graduate with an electrical and electronics engineering degree (cum laude) from California State Polytechnic University. A post-graduate researcher at both Florida State University’s Master of Business Administration program and at the University of British Columbia focusing in Dynamic Signature Pattern Recognition and Shannon’s Information Theory. He is recipient of Marquis “Who’s Who in the West” and “Who’s Who in the World” and was appointed in 2000 to the President’s Business Commission in Washington, DC. He has good command of the Chinese language, English and Spanish languages.

Benjamin Chen
Project Director

Benjamin Chen specializes advising in rapid-growth companies involving US to China cross-border M&A transactions and getting access to the US capital markets. Benjamin has operations experience in the industries of logistics, telecommunications, industrial chemicals, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

He is currently the Project Director of Evotech Management Corporation, an international merchant banking advisory firm that focuses on rapid-growth acquisitions through the capital markets, located in San Bruno, California and Shanghai, PRC. From 2008 to present, Benjamin has consulted on corporate development for China Health Resources, Inc. (OTC:CHRI), a Delaware corporation, which through its subsidiary, Sichuan Yinfa Resource Development Group Co., Ltd. (located in the Suining District, Sichuan Province, PRC) develops and commercializes Dahurian Angelica, a herb used in medicines, as an ingredient in food, and cosmetics in the PRC.

From 2007 to present, Benjamin has served as a Director of Advanced Water Technologies Inc., a Nevada corporation (“AWT), and its sister company Environtech, Inc. (“ETI”), which has offices in San Bruno, California, and in Pudong District, Shanghai, PRC. AWT has built a pipeline of M&A targets of water technology companies, and in 2009 raised $28,000,000 for the top-ranked point-of-use cooler manufacturer and distributor in the US. AWT continues to seek M&A opportunities in the water purification industry; and ETI has secured commercial and industrial point-of-entry and water recycling projects in PRC.

From 2009 to present, Benjamin has served as a Director of CFA Foods, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“CFAF”), which through subsidiaries Guangzhou Tanke Industry Co. Ltd. and Shandong Zhongji Agriculture Animal Development Co., Ltd. (located in Guangzhou and Weifang, China, respectively) produces livestock premix, feed additives, shell eggs and chicken broilers that are distributed and sold throughout the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”) and in several other countries, around the world.From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Chen has served as a Director of Direct Coating, Inc., a Nevada Corporation (OTC:DTCO), which through its subsidiary Fo Shan Shi Shun De Shu Ma Cai Yu Liao You Xian Gong Si (located in Xin Tan Shunde Industrial District, Foshan, Guangdong Province, PRC) manufactures and sells interior and exterior paints and coatings in PRC, through 400 dealership stores, since 1996.

From 2004 to 2007, Benjamin worked for Genentech, Inc., in quality control of biotechnology manufacturing. From 2000 to 2003, he worked for Federal Express in performance compliance.

Benjamin received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University in 2006.
